New German edition of the Gor Series announced

| A brand new German edition of John Norman's Chronicles of Gor has been announced by Basilisk Verlag and Atlantis Verlag. This will include all 26 volumes currently available in English, and the as yet unpublished 27th volume.
Working in partnership, Basilisk Verlag and Atlantis Verlag have recently announced an entirely new German edition. Unlike the previous German edition, this new edition will include the full series, completely unabridged.
This is the announcement, in German:
"Die beiden Verlage Atlantis und Basilisk bringen dieses Jahr als Gemeinschaftsproduktion eine Neuausgabe der legendären Fantasy-Reihe "Gor" von John Norman auf den Markt. Die Bücher erscheinen als großformatige Paperback-Ausgabe erstmals ungekürzt, die Erstauflage ist limitiert und numeriert auf 500 Exemplare. Neben den ursprünglich bei Heyne erschienenen ersten 25 Romanen - die zum Teil stark bearbeitet waren - werden auch der bisher nur auf Englisch vorliegende Band 26 sowie der gerade fertig gestellte Band 27 auf Deutsch erscheinen."
The first volume, "Die Chroniken von Gor: Der Krieger" (Tarnsman of Gor), translated by Patrick J. Grieser, is due for release in the autumn of 2007, but we hope to be able to publish the cover in April. As and when we get further news, we'll be sure to let you know.
